Quarantine Diary is an artist book that expresses the personal view of Spanish artist Alberto Guerrero during 53 days of confination during the coronavirus crisis.
The Diary pictures both everyday images and the artist poetic perspective on the pandemic. Some of the paintings use domestic objets as a metaphore of what is going on outside.
Quarantine Diary has reached a wide audience as it has appeared in a number of online media and art museums.
In April 2021 it has been selected by @Covid Art Museum and @Mostra Museu a Spanish-Brazilian initiative to show quarantine art, as one of the 200 finalist artworks to be exhibited in the streets of Sao Paulo city.
